Asset Browser (Blender v4.0+)

What is the asset version?

The Asset Browser version is not a complement, but an alternative to the Addon Library. If you use and install the addon, you don’t need to install this version.
This version gives you access to drag and drop all the materials and most Geometry Node generators directly from a list without the need to installing the addon.

Addon version recommended

I highly recommend the addon version because it has a lot of extra tools, like the baking tool, it also allows the use of the Decal Tool and many other useful things like Favorites, Filters. The material parameters are also better organized because the code can be edited unlike in the Asset Browser Version.

Installing the Asset Browser version

• Download the Asset Browser version Blend File
• Create a new folder and place the 2 files inside de ZIP file (the txt holds the categories info)
• Open Blender and go to Edit>Preferences>File Paths
• On Asset Libraries press the plus button and add a name and the file path to the file
• On the hamburger menu icon save preferences

Now when you go to the Asset Library you can switch from “Current File” to Sanctus Library and use all the materials from there.
