Click the add new button to add an instance of this asset to the scene.

The Paper material has a few things to consider if you want to have more customization:

If you leave the Color attribute node (1) connected, the color will be changed using the Geometry Nodes parameters. You can also change the translucent factor with (3), the shadow strength (4) where black is 100% strength and pure white is no shadow at all. And the roughness can be changed directly in the principled shader.

If you want to use a custom texture, you can use the custom UV Map I left on the Attribute node (2):

Just note that a high number in the geometry nodes subdivisions parameter will stretch the texture.

Parameters

Color 1: Umbrella Paper Color
Open: Opens the umbrella
Height: Umbrella height
Sides: Amount of sticks
Umbrella Size: Extension of the umbrella
Tips: Tips margin
Overall Scale: Proportionally scale the entire asset
Subdivisions: Subdivisions on the paper
Wrinkles: Adds wrinkles like in crepe paper (best with 4 subdivisions)
Realize Instances: Realize Instances (activate before applying the modifier to convert to mesh)
