Volume Bounces

Since we will be working with Volume Shaders, we need to make sure that the Volume Bounces in the render settings are at least 4, otherwise some materials will look really dark.

Volume Bounces: 0

Volume Bounces = 4

Caustics

Remember that you can activate Blender Caustics (Lights, Caster Object and Receiving Object)

Sanctus Liquid Works materials come with a special parameter to replace the causics color for a custom one

Auto-dimensions

When working with volumes and subsurface scattering, the scale of the objects is very important, since a volume density of 1 will look completely different in objects of very different scales.
To help and give more flexibility to the users, the materials come with an Auto-Dimensions parameter that you can toggle and it will keep the look of the material the same regardless of the scale of your scene.

It’s important to note that while this is very handy for quick renders and testing, if you are going to animate or change the size of the object in an animation or simulation, you should turn this off to allow the material to behave as intended according to a fixed scale scene. This is detailed in the intro video.

Color View Transform

Some of the materials, like Orange Juice and Honey (specially the orange and saturated colors) will not look as intended in the viewport while using AGX

Foam

Foam materials, specially dense foam can get heavy, it is recommended to hide the objects with foam material in the viewport to avoid slow performance.
