The addon installation process has changed in Blender 4.2+
Once you download the addon zip file from the store where you purchased it
1. go to EDIT>PREFERENCES, then select the Add-ons tab, click in the right top corner arrow and then click “Install from disk”
2. Navigate to the addon zip file, select it and click the “Install from disk” button
3. Once installed, you can click the little arrow to expand the addon preferences
The addon is now installed and ready to use. You will notice new tabs in the (N) panel on the Viewport (Toggle the N panel visibility with the N key of your keyboard)

Hi Kuma, that is the case for the Bundle version only. The lite and full versions of Sanctus Library have the files ready to install directly.

This is probably a mistake that many people make. Many people try to install the downloaded zip file directly, and get confused by an error. When you unzip the downloaded zip file, you will find the add-on zip file to install.

Hi Oleg, it's hard to chat here since there are no notifications or direct replies. Please contact me by email or via discord. I will answer your question here anyway in case someone gets the same error. This happens when you don't restart blender between the uninstall of the old version and the install of the new version/update.

Hey! Thank you for you work, it is an amazing library. But I am getting an error when trying to install it.
module 'Sanctus-Library.dev_info' has no attribute 'GIT_VERSION'
What can this be? Blender 4.2
Sanctus wrote: Aug 31, 2024
That's because you are trying to install an Asset Browser format as if it was an addon. Check https://sanctuslibrary.xyz/documentation/main/en/topic/asset-browser-blender-v3-5

I can't install the asset browser 3.1 on Blender 4.2.1 due to the following error:
Missing manifest from: V:\_addons_zipsources\Asset_Browser_v3.1.zip
Can you help me please?
