Usage

1- Click the “Add New” button

2- Go to Blender’s modifier tab and inside the geometry nodes modifier you will see a field to select the collection where the objects affected with snow will be.

Parameters

Collision Collection: Objects in this collection that are directly above objects in the SNOW COLLECTION will cover them from the snow
Snow Collection: Objects that will be covered by snow
Snow Material: The material used by the snow, by default it has a procedural material. Baking it will improve performance. You can also replace it with any other material.
Scale (resolution/density): This parameter is ment to adjust the snow depending on the scale of the objects used. It will make the scale of noise, particles, mesh and most values adapt to a different scale.
By default it works well on object from 1 to 2 meters. If you plan to use it on something larger you may increase the scale. It is also limited to a range or 0.5 to 2 to avoid making the processing to intense.
*Seed:*Gives different results using the same parameters

▼ LIMITS
Threshold (Normal Limit): This limits the accumulation of snow by face normal. At 1 only faces looking straight up will accumulate snow, the lower the number the higher the tolerance will be.
Margin From Edges: It will decrease the area that the snow covers starting from the boundaries
Margin is Relative: The “Margin From Edges” parameter will be relative to the size of each island of snow instead of absolute.
Island Removal: Progressively removes islands (small pieces of snow separated from the main bodies)

▼ Boundary NOISE
Boundary Noise Scale: The noise affecting the boundary of the snow
Boundary Noise Str: The intensity of the noise affecting the boundary

▼ SNOW SHAPE
Bevel Profile: The shape of the bevel on the edge of the snow
Bevel Distance: The distance at which the snow gets to the highest point
Bevel Distance Relative: The bevel will be relative to the size of each island of snow instead of absolute.
Height: Increases height
Inflate: Increases volume along normals
Surface Noise Scale: The size of the noise affecting the surface
Surface Noise Str: The intensity of the noise affecting the surface
Surface Offset: Adjust the snow distance from the surface, negative values will sink the snow in the surface.

▼ PARTICLES
Particles Collection: You can replace this with a different collection and use your own particles
Particles Amount: Adds particles (leaves and grass blades) to the snow
Particles Threshold: This limits the accumulation of particles by face normal. At 1 only faces looking straight up will accumulate particles, the lower the number the higher the tolerance will be.
Particles Scale: Scale for the particles
Hide Snow: Hide snow to speed up viewport
Dirt (beta): Adds dust to the snow using ambient occlusion mask
